Volunteering with TPE means that you support not just the transactional achievement of landing a job or hiring a new staff member, but that you value the growth, development, and betterment of your fellow practitioners as an integral part of their professional journey through job searching, recruiting, interviewing, and advancing in our field.

Career Coaching

Through Volunteer Career Coaching, TPE aims to connect practitioners with peers in the profession who can be strong conversation partners in helping them discern next steps and decisions in their career journey.

Career Coaching is a proactive approach aimed at helping individuals, or employees, reach their career goals and unlock their full potential. Career Coaches provide guidance and support throughout various stages of one’s career journey, offering assistance in areas such as resume building, job search strategies, networking, leadership development, and more.

Learning + Engagement

From Talks to Rap Sessions and Programs, TPE strives to create content that helps applicants become more informed job seekers, capable interviewees, and effective negotiators. Additional we strive to create guidance that not only helps employers tailor positions and postings that find the right candidates, but also helps them market their brand to recruit and hire top talent.

Our learning and engagement experiences are strengthened through collaboration with SAPros, HR professionals, and other career professionals who are willing to share their knowledge, experience, and insight. Volunteering to collaborate as panelist, presenter or speaker, blogger, or writer enables us to always offer resources that are deeply relevant and connected to our field and our practitioners.

Materials Reviewer

Through Materials Review, TPE aims to provide practitioners with the opportunity to have their resume, cover letter, and/or their LinkedIn social media presence reviewed to receive feedback. This feedback will help job seekers capture the attention of recruiters and hiring managers, improve their chances of passing ATS screenings, as well as boost their esteem and confidence as an exceptional candidate.

Mock Interviewer

Through Mock Interviews, TPE aims to create simulated practice scenarios for practitioners to prepare for real job interviews.

The purpose of Mock Interviews is to provide a safe and supportive environment for candidates to practice their interview skills, gain confidence, and receive feedback on their performance.
